Most of the benchmarks are recording around 450watts of power usage.

While most of us know that Crysis does not scale well in crossfire, there are many other benchmarks that seem pretty promising. The 4870x2 is definitely the gt280 killer, your decision could only hinge on if your planning on playing Crysis and Crysis only.

While the benchmarks are currently using older and under optimized drivers, you can still catch a glipse of what's to come. Also if your interested in reinstalling that copy of Oblivion, expect to finally be able to play at respectable framrates.

The promised 10-30% boost of running a 4870x2 over 2 4870's in Crossfire is not currently noticed. The built in Crossfire bridge could still be driver reliant.

This is that card that I plan on buying, I will keep you posted if any further news arrives.
