Color Blindness sloved

Enchroma a new type of lens can help you differentiate between colors. Since color blindness can be of different forms there are different types of lenses.Special filters in the glass help you to distinguish colors. They were launched at Vision Expo West in Las Vegas in the beginning of September 2012. Cost of these is not yet confirmed. BIONIC EYE

        This allows some recovery of sight if optical nerve is saved healthy. In most cases,this is a small camera attached to eyeglasses. The camera takes a photo and sends it to the electronic module hanging on the belt of the patient. The picture is black and white ,low resolution, i.e., perceive on outlines but not color vision.        After the process of electronic module picture is transmitted wireless to the antenna close to the eye ball. These antennas forward the signal to electrodes implanted into the retina.        At the moment this technology allows only making difference between light and dark.
